^Cardlock

An addition to The Edge in 2001 is the ability to handle Cardlock transactions.  The system is specifically designed for use with T-Chek™ transactions, but was built in such a way to handle other Cardlock transactions should our customers need it.

Some of the benefits of using the Edge Cardlock module include:

• Cardlock transactions are updated electronically into The Edge.  Inventory levels and customers to be billed are automatically updated.

• Product pricing can be set up to be invoiced as 'cost plus' (i.e. the cost of the product is received with the cardlock transaction and the retail is set at so much above cost)

• Multiple Cards can be assigned to a single billing customer.  These cards can be itemized on the invoices for the single customer showing a breakdown of cards or unit numbers.

• Reconciliation is made easier by eliminating manual entry of the cardlock transactions.

• Available in the 'traditional model' of The Edge, or in the hosted environment of Edge Online
