Tronia Systems works in Partnership with our Customers to create a unique, progressive management system that is flexible and customized. What We Do Here

Tronia Systems Ltd. is an established software company that has been catering to the Ag-Retail Industry for over 15 years. We offer a fully integrated accounting package and serve a client base that spans North America. Our office is located in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. Most of the services we provide to our clients is done remotely through telephone, modem connections, or through the Internet. Our organization is flat by nature; we encourage a team approach. Our commitment to our staff is also illustrated by cost-sharing measures regarding the benefit premiums. Tronia Systems pays for two-thirds of the premiums.

Current Openings

We have an opening for maternity leave coverage (up to 14 months); full time position of Administrative Assistant.

Tronia Systems is a small business with history, substance and a strong future.  We have been providing IT solutions to the Ag-Retail industry since the mid 1980’s.  We work hard to earn our customers loyalty while remaining true to our core values…honesty, integrity, compassion and commitment.  We are in the process of launching the second generation of our financial management software and are in need of an Administrative Assistant who also subscribes to these values.

 

Tasks will range from responding to customer inquiries, reception, general office duties to bookkeeping functions.  Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Client Services Consultants to ensure that projects and products are delivered on time and meet clients’ quality and value expectations (i.e. respond to client needs when requested to do so, assist with the preparation of documents, particularly training materials, deliveries, faxes, desktop publishing)

  • Assist with marketing & sales activities including mailing literature to current & potential clients, assisting with preparations for conventions, seminars and presentations, making follow up calls to clients as requested by team members

  • Provide reception support including telephone and in-person inquiries, and other office duties (faxes, mail, couriers, ordering office supplies, maintaining the voice mail system, etc.)

  • Data entry functions for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable using our customized accounting system

  • Preparation & maintenance of mailing lists & other distribution databases

  • Coordination of travel arrangements

 

To be successful, you must demonstrate behaviours that are reflective of our values, posses an understanding of bookkeeping &/or accounting functions, have proven computer skills in a Windows environment, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Outlook, Excel, Access & Word.  Post-secondary training in a related field is a requirement (i.e. Business Administration, Office Administration), as is a commitment to customer service excellence.  You must also have strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, complemented by your positive attitude.
