Use the Edit Release Number window to change existing release numbers.
To edit a release number
On the Inventory menu, point to Manage and then click Release Numbers.
The Release Number Search window is available.
Find the release number(s) using the various search criteria. The search results are shown in the Release Numbers window.
In the Release Number list, select the release number to edit and then click Edit.
The Edit Release Number window opens.
In the Release Number box, change the preauthorized release number for the product.
In the Quantity box, change the quantity of the product for the release number.
In the Status box, change the status of the release number.
The quantity of Cancelled release numbers is reported as 0.
In the Comments box, change the comments about the release number for your own use (e.g., the trucking company’s name).
These comments are printed on Release Number Activity reports.
Note
You can also update your release numbers on the Edit Purchase Order window.
Click Save.
