Import Grading Factor Rates

agrē exports a spreadsheet (referred to as a template or worksheet) for you to enter new rates and shrinkage values, then imports the new values to your database.

Creating Grading Factor Rates Worksheets

Navigate to Grain > Manage > Import Grading Factor Rates.
The Import Grading Factor Rates window opens.

To create an empty worksheet (column headers only):
Select Export Worksheet  screenshot of button

To create a worksheet with your existing rates:
Optionally change the Export Rate selection criteria, then select Export  screenshot of button

Export to Excel as you normally would.
(config U) Remember to save the file on a local drive or a local network drive.

Tip

Follow the tips for Selecting a Destination for Exported Files to make sure you're saving the file to where you can edit it outside of agrē.

Filling in the Grading Factor Rates Worksheet

Follow the usual worksheet rules: don't add or remove rows or columns; leave fully empty rows and fully empty columns blank.

Once the new values have been entered, save the spreadsheet. The data can now be imported into agrē.

Business Rules for Worksheet Values

Commodity Code field and GF Rate must always be populated.

Since shrink is not linked to a location in the same way that a normal grading factor rate is, shrink % can be imported only for the <Company> location.

A row can have only a Shrink Pct without an Adjustment Code or Rate - but - if you do enter an Adjustment Code you must also a Rate.

The worksheet can contain values for only one location.

Min and Max limits for adjustment rates apply.

Shrink Pct is only applicable for the Moisture Grading Factor (and <Company Location>).

You can have Shrink rates that do not have a corresponding Adjustment rate.
